Who are we?
We are students of those who came before us. We both work in corporate America and are making good progress on our respective journeys to Financial Independence. Throughout our time, we have accumulated lots of knowledge about how to approach Financial Independence. We both recognize that our paths may not be immediately accessible to everyone.
We hope that by creating a structured approach to accessing information and a hands-on method of learning, others can start making progress towards whatever dreams that Financial Independence would bring.
For our day jobs, we are professional problem solvers. We work in a Fortune 125 company as independent consultants, tackling some of the toughest business problems facing our organization. It’s intellectually stimulating, fairly well rewarded, and sometimes even fun. But, we’re still missing the heartfelt connection that comes with directly serving someone.
Why work with us?
- Our Purity of Purpose:
- We hold ourselves to an almost fiduciary standard. We do our best to limit our revenue streams to those that are aligned with yours.
- Course and coaching fees are our primary revenue streams
- No stupid pop-ups or cheap click-me tricks. We don’t want to clutter your experience for our profit
- Do our best to acknowledge and eliminate our bias
- We are capable:
- We have studied this domain extensively and passionately
- While neither of us are financial free yet, we understand the principles and are applying them to our own lives with successful outcomes
- Our day jobs require problem decomposition and complex problem solving. Humbly, we’re pretty good at developing workable solutions.
- Interactive modeling so you can test out changes to see the impact in a hands-on learning environment.
Why not work with someone else?
- Gurus are expensive & may be more interested in selling you on their next level of seminar than in actually teaching you how to to achieve your goals
- Blogs/podcasts are really interesting & helpful, but largely unstructured in how they provide information
- Academia (with a few exceptions) is more focused on business/corporate finance … because their goal is to produce good employees for the system rather than entrepreneurs who create systems
- Financial institutions: does a workshop on responsible credit card use really align with your credit card company’s goals?
